Marry, eat and dance without moving your guests across town. Your coordinator plans the day with you, from the first viewing to the last song, and our own kitchen cooks the wedding breakfast.
Ceremony and reception in one place
The Main Hall is approved for civil ceremonies (sample approval). Ceremonies on the Garden Terrace, a linked outdoor area, need the superintendent registrar to confirm the location for each booking.
The hour before the ceremony
No food or drink is served or consumed in the ceremony room for an hour before or during the ceremony, apart from non-alcoholic drinks beforehand.
Drinks while photographs are taken
Fizz and canapés on the Garden Terrace, with the lawn for group photographs.
A wedding breakfast from our kitchen
Three courses served at the table, planned around your tastes and any dietary needs.
Evening guests and a dance floor
The Main Hall clears for the band or DJ while guests have drinks outside.

Can we marry at Aldermere Hall?
Yes. The Main Hall is approved for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships (sample approval). For a ceremony on the Garden Terrace, a linked outdoor area, the superintendent registrar confirms the location for each booking. You book the registrars yourselves; we’ll tell you how.
How many weddings do you hold in a day?
One. The hall, the terrace and the gardens are yours alone for the day.
How late can we go?
Music runs until midnight, the bar until 12.30am and carriages are at 1am. Ask us about later finishes.
When do we need to confirm numbers?
Six weeks before the day, with final dietary needs. Until then, a rough number is fine.
